A fantastic response to this year’s swim means we have an extensive reserve list as well as a full swim. Apologies to all who have ‘missed the cut’.
It leaves Caldey Island’s Priory Beach at 13.45 on Sunday 18th August, so if you would have liked to have been in the swim but can’t now enter, why not come along to watch as it runs along the South Beach, goes around Castle Hill and ends up at the finish line, between the (Grand Designs) old lifeboat house and the harbour quay? The swimmers should all have completed the course within two hours and should start arriving at the finish line from about 14.20.
If you’d like a closer look, the Spectators’ Boat is due to leave the Castle Beach landing at about 13.25. Tickets cost £10.
